Star Rating and Safer Roads Investment Plan Training
The IndiaRAP team offers training courses introducing participants to all aspects of the Star Rating and Safer Roads Investment process. The courses instruct participants on the methodology and specifications that underpin IndiaRAP assessments, use of the online safety software, ViDA and include practical exercises and assignments.
Completion of Course 1, or demonstrated experience in surveys, coding and supporting data activities, is a requirement for admission to Course 2.
The IndiaRAP team can deliver class-room training focusing on the Star Rating and Safer Roads Investment Plan methodology through the above two training courses. This training can be delivered at the IndiaRAP office in AITD, New Delhi or at the preferred location of the organization requesting training.

BIGRS IndiaRAP Online Series – World Bank and iRAP help to save lives on Indian Roads
With support from the Bloomberg Philanthropies under the BIGRS 2020-2025, the World Bank’s GRSF and iRAP have partnered to deliver periodic learning events on the iRAP methodology. Every webinar series will put in the spotlight a country with significant road safety lessons to be shared.
This comes after the success of a joint webinar held in December 2019, where iRAP and the World Bank delivered an important key outcomes webinar to share the successes of the initial 2015-19 phase of the Bloomberg Philanthropies Initiative for Global Road Safety.
The first of the free-of-charge series focussed on India and was held in June 2020. More information on the webinar and recorded sessions are available here.
